The highest tibetan bridge of sellano in Europe

“This bridge is one of the highest Tibetan bridges in Europe. This Tibetan bridge in the central region of Umbria was inaugurated on Saturday, March 24, and is also open to the public. This Tibetan bridge of Sellano is called ‘The green heart of Italy.’

This bridge connects the two villages and is very fascinating for those who love adventure. Besides, it is terrible for those with weak hearts. The Tibetan Bridge is surrounded by unspoiled nature and amazing drone views, and it’s located halfway between the cities of Foligno and Spoleto.

The structure connects the village of Sellano with the tiny hamlet of Montesanto. The bridge is suspended 175 meters above the ground, and it crosses the valley of the river Vigi. This bridge is 517 meters long and has 1024 steps with an approximately 30 cm gap from one step to another. It takes visitors 30 to 45 minutes to cross the bridge connecting the villages of Sellano and Montesanto on foot. 68 meters rise in height from the start point of Sellano to the end point of Montesanto.

75 people can climb together at a time on this bridge wearing safety ropes. The ticket price is 25 euros.”
